Range Level Singing programme Talent Hunt competition “Choona Hai Aasman 2019” under Civic Action Programme was organized by Range Police Headquarters Jammu at Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground Jammu in which 31 contestants from District Jammu, Samba & Kathua already selected by the concerned Districts have shown their skill of solo singing competition.        

Among these contestants Mr. Ayoush Singh, Ms. Ridima Bajpai of Jammu and Mr. Love Preet of Kathua adjudged as 1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rd respectively from age group of 05 yrs to 12 yrs Category,                      Mr. Amir Khan, Mr. Sahil of Kathua and Ms. Arpana Kumari of Jammu adjudged as 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd respectively from the age group of 13 yrs to 18 yrs and Mr. Pankaj Kumar of Kathua , Mr. Lalit and Mr. Shubam Banerjee of Jammu adjudged as 1^st , 2^nd & 3^rd respectively from the age group 19 yrs to 25 yrs. were boosted with cash reward/mementos alongwith certificates  and participation certificates were given to all contestants. 

Prof. Kalpana Kesar, Prof. Anupama Sharma & Mr. Harish Kaila were the jury members. Shri Mukesh Singh, IPS IGP Jammu Zone, Jammu was the chief guest of the event. Besides, prominent persons and high dignitaries from different departments, civil society and students of different schools have witnessed the function who lauded the programme with great applause.

Shri Danish Rana, IPS IGP Armed/IR Jammu Zone, Shri Tejinder Singh, IPS SSP Jammu & Shri Shakti Pathak, JKPS SSP Samba among other police officers has also witnessed the programme. Ms. Shreya Gandral winner of 2015 Choona Hain Aasman was special Guest who presented the special item which was lauded by the audiences/other dignitaries with great applause. The whole programme was anchored by Ms. Shwetima from Mirchi 98.3FM, Shri Rakesh Sambyal from PTTI Vijaypur & Ms. Isha Mahajan from District Jammu.   

        The programme has been conducted under the guidance of Shri Pawan Parihar, JKPS Staff Officer to DIG JSK Range. The programme was conducted under the overall supervision of Shri Vivek Gupta, IPS, Dy. Inspector General of Police Jammu Samba Kathua Range Hqrs. Jammu presented the welcome address and apprised the gathering for purpose of the event, whereas Shri Pawan Parihar, JKPS Staff Officer to DIG Jammu presented the vote of thanks.
